Great Hills, originally developed in the 1970s, has become a coveted neighborhood for families and young professionals who work in the tech industry. Nestled between Highway 183 and Loop 360, the community is home to hilly, tree-filled terrain, scenic views, and a wide variety of homes that range from apartments to Texas-size Spanish colonials. Another big draw is access to some of the best schools in the city, with kids either attending Austin Independent School District, including Anderson High School, or Round Rock Independent School District, home to the nationally ranked Westwood High School. While residents often have to contend with bad rush-hour traffic, once they’re home, they can relax in relative seclusion away from the hustle and bustle of our ever-growing city.
